Chris Kalamchi

Chris is a growth swiss army knife having spent the past 8+ years helping start-ups of all sizes. Since late 2020, Chris has supported numerous consumer products across a range of marketing channels including site, email & marketing automation, SMS, analytics, and more. Previously, Chris was a Growth Product Manager at Wealthsimple, where he helped build a DTC investing product for one of the world’s largest fintech brands. Prior to Wealthsimple, Chris led community growth at Tilt, a peer-to-peer payments app that was acquired by Airbnb in 2017.

 
 
 
 

Laura Carpenter

Laura is a marketing professional with 6 years of experience in driving customer acquisition for direct to consumer brands. Most recently, Laura started her own consulting business and helped 20+ early-stage businesses build and manage their growth marketing programs. Previously, she worked on the Acquisition team at Casper, managing paid social and influencer marketing. Prior to joining Casper, Laura worked on the paid media team at VaynerMedia.

 
 

TJ Daniels

TJ started his career at VaynerMedia where he worked as a media buyer and planner across several CPG conglomerates like ABInbev, PepsiCo, and P&G. After helping drive growth for P&G’s direct-to-consumer business, he transitioned to consulting for smaller eCommerce brands in 2020.

 
 
 
 

Claire Storrs

Claire has more than a decade of experience in CPG communications, and has led strategy for leading incumbent brands such as Rollerblade, Stio, and Au Bon Pain as well as in the start-up space with cookware company, Proclamation Goods. She has a unique perspective on brand development having sat in both the agency and founder seats, and is able to bring that context to her client partnership approach at Tugboat. Claire specializes in PR strategy, affiliate marketing, copywriting, and ad creative workstreams.
